You can take the ferry from Ardrossan to Brodick, which takes 55 minutes. Vehicle reservations are recommended on this route.
You can also travel from Claonaig in Kintyre to Lochranza, at the north end of Arran, which takes 30 minutes. No advance booking is necessary on this sailing. Simply turn up at the port of departure, go on the next available sailing, and buy a ticket on board.
In winter, the ferry from Kintyre leaves from Tarbert (Loch Fyne), not Claonaig.
When you leave the ferry terminal by car, turn immediately right. Go approx 500 yards to the end of the road, where you will see the Visitor centre on your left, turn left towards Lamlash.
Continue on for approx ¼ mile take the second turning on your left, signed for Corriegills. Continue on up the road for approx ¾ mile and you will find Raven’s Gully on your left.
When leaving the ferry slipway, turn left towards Lochranza Castle which will be on your left hand side. Continue on along the A841 for approx 14.7miles to Brodick.
Once you've passed the Brodick ferry terminal on your left, continue up the hill and take the second turning on your left, signed Corriegills.
Continue on up the road for approx ¾ mile and Raven's Gully is on your left.
Ardrossan Harbour is just over 30 miles from Glasgow, and it's about a 50 minute drive. If you are travelling with an electric vehicle you can find charging points at Brodick in the car marshalling area approximately 10m from the terminal.

Stagecoach operates services throughout the week from Glasgow to Ardrossan and also operates across the Isle of Arran, connecting Lochranza in the north and Brodick in the south of the island.

One small to medium sized dog is welcome in our Dunfion and Dhunan Pods. They even get their very own welcome hamper to help them settle in. This includes feeding bowl, water bowl, poop bags, drying mitts, fluffy blanket, pet first aid kit and tasty dog treat made right here on the island at the Arran Dog Bakery. All have been road tested and approved by our very own fur baby Vinnie.
Each of our pet friendly pods also has its very own secure garden allowing you to sit back and enjoy the view knowing your dog is safe.

Arran Gold is in our opinion one of the best cream liqueurs in the world. Absolutely delicious from start to finish. It is made with Arran Single Malt Whisky which makes a real difference in terms of flavour. The nose has warm, melted toffee and lashings of double cream. The taste is beautifully sweet with vanilla, toffee, cream and a hint of chocolate. Wonderful stuff
